About BCHE

The Buckeye Council for History Education is the Ohio affiliate of the National Council for History Education and works to promote history education in the Buckeye State.

The Ohio Historical Society and the Ohio Humanities Council, with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities We the People program, provide support for BCHE and our annual summer conference. We invite you to join us this July to engage with historians, archivists and other experts, and to exchange teaching ideas and strategies with fellow educators and specialists.
